Farr ATB Cromo 29er Frame-Kit

There was a time when an offroad bicycle was just that.

Simple in design and classic in execution. We think those were good times and when we set out to design the A.T.B we wanted to re-create that ethos and thinking for a bicycle frame.

Utilizing custom butted 4130 Cromoly tubing and sticking to a classic ” double triangle ” design, the frame needed to offer a simple aesthetic whilst incorporating both modern frame features and standards.

What do we mean? Well, for starters the size of the wheels and tyres being used for going offroad have evolved – more volume makes for a comfier ride and improved traction. Designed to roll on either 29er ( 29 x 2.6 max ) or 27.5 ( 27.5 x 2.8 max ) wheels, the A.T.B can be set up for hitting some gnarly singletrack or heading out on multi-day adventures.

Frame geometry has also evolved over the decades, the trend being for longer front ends and slacker head tube angles which allow for more control and stability. We didn’t stop there either, the frame also includes a Sliding Rear Dropout which means you can build it up for a geared or single speed drivetrain. ( and adjust both wheelbase and ride feel. An oversize 44mm straight head tube means you can choose either a tapered or straight steerer tube fork.

Warranty : being Cromo these frames are extremely durable, however, we do understand that things can happen during manufacture and we will cover any defects in materials/manufacture for a period of 3 years. Should your frame be older than that, please contact us and we will endeavour to find a solution and compromise if necessary.
